Margo Dillard
Margot has finally had her second book published, Life By The Glassful. Both her new book and her first one, Wine and Sweet Words are available on Amazon. Both books combine several hobbies she enjoys -- writing, and wine tasting. She enjoyed writing at an early age but waited to enjoy wine until a more respectable age.
Gardening has also been both her passion and a livelihood, as well as hobby for more than 30 years. Give her the outdoors, some dirt and the promise of a nice glass of wine at the end of the day and she is happy. Margot’s quest for enjoyable wines has led her to travel, taste, read and write about wines, as well as understanding the gardening techniques used in growing grapes.
She is a strong advocate of the expanding status and quality of Virginia and East Coast wines. One of her Suite101 articles is being reprinted by the French Ministry of Argiculture. Besides her wine and gardening articles she is in the process of getting a third wine and recipe book published, as well as a book on the Civil War. She can be reached at wordscriber@comcast.net.
